Dear Students, Teachers, Parents and Caregivers;
On behalf of the Browns Valley Family Club (BVFC), welcome to the 2025/2026 school year! I’m very excited to be the new President of our school’s parent teacher organization.
My husband David and I have two boys, Theo in 4th grade and Rowan in 2nd grade. As with most of you, we are a busy family! Theo is an avid BMX racer and LEGO builder. Rowan is passionate about reading, art and animals, helping to care for our two cats Piper and Crouton, a small flock of chickens, Fluffy the box turtle and Luna, our new Bernedoodle puppy. I work as a personal chef, gardener and assistant. David is a Supervisor with Napa Parks & Recreation.
Last school year I was Historian for the Family Club and I’ve been on the Auction Committee for the past 4 years. I’m excited to meet more families this year in my new role.
My goals are to promote inclusivity and mutual respect, to remain open to new ideas and diverse opinions, to welcome everyone and encourage cooperation, and to make the Browns Valley School experience more rewarding for all of us.
The BVFC is a non-profit organization with the mission to enrich the academic and social experience of every student at the school. Through generous sponsorships, donations, fundraisers and events, we raise funds to support school needs and activities: classroom supplies, field trips, assemblies, music programs, STEAM, and many other enrichment programs.
The organization is run entirely by volunteers. We are entering the year with a fabulous team of board members and committee chairs. We encourage you to join us and help our school community however you can. There are so many ways to be an active supporter of Browns Valley School. Attend our meetings to share your ideas and connect and work with other members. Participate in the many events and activities we host each year. Contribute your time or become a school sponsor.
I encourage you to share your unique skills and talents with our community. Can you modernize the BVFC website? Host a lunch for teacher appreciation week? Volunteer at an event? Solicit auction donations? Procure sugar bombs for the Carnival cake walk? Everyone has something special to offer and we would love to have your help.
Our meetings are held on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 6:30PM at the school. We will send Parent Square messages prior to the meetings to confirm dates, times and agenda topics. You may submit requests, comments or questions to BVFamilyClub@gmail.com
